Dorin Mateciuc

Dorin and his wife relocated from Romania to Telluride (the most beautiful and tranquil town in the United States) in 2007. Dorin started working at the club in 2009 and has since helped his staff provide exceptional customer service and incredible experiences for all River Club owners and guests. Dorin likes all mountain sports, as well as traveling and discovering new places throughout the world.

Mitzi Mallard

Mitzi began working with the club in sales in 2006 and then moved to operations in 2008. Mitzi and her family relocated to Telluride from Texas in 1997. Growing up in Oklahoma, the mountains provided an exhilarating change with limitless opportunities.

CONCIERGE MANAGER

Heather Lepel-Cointet

Heather spent much of her youth experiencing the "military brat" lifestyle, growing up in Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Alaska, Arizona, and Colorado. Heather's mother retired from the military in 2002 and relocated the family to Telluride, Colorado, where Heather attended high school. It was during that time that she discovered her love of mountains, music, photography, and all things outdoors! Heather joined the River Club team in 2011. Her passions include disc golf, snowboarding, traveling, hiking, biking, and spending quality time with her husband, Julien, and daughter, Mirabelle.

VALET

Tommy Wince

Tommy grew up in Central Illinois but has resided in Telluride since 1997. He loves to hike and snowboard. Tommy also works as a lighting designer for stage and theatrical productions such as Telluride Young People's Theater and Shakespeare in the Park.

Ben Gabriel

Ben was raised in Colorado Springs, CO and has always enjoyed being outside. He relocated to Telluride in the fall of 2007 and has been a full-time resident ever since. He likes skiing, mountain biking, fishing, and trekking in the San Juan mountains, as well as exploring the arid Southwest.

Anton Norwood

Anton was born in Latvia and moved to the United States in 1998. He became a citizen of the United States in 2008, which he views as one of the finest moments of his life. In his own time, he enjoys writing movie screenplays, painting abstract art, writing music, and spending time in nature. He also intends to audition for Telluride Theater in the near future and hopes to work as a part-time stage actor. He had always wanted to visit Colorado, and after living in the state for about a year and visiting several sites, he believes Telluride to be one of the most magnificent cities he has ever visited. He considers himself really lucky to be able to work in Telluride, and he particularly appreciates working at the River Club, where everyone has been so friendly and accepting.

Michael Smith

Michael Smith was born in Maryland. He went to California to follow his aspirations. After 23 years of rubbing shoulders with Hollywood's elite as a 20-year SAG actor, chauffeur, and personal assistant to some well-known celebrities (including Johnny Depp, Patrick Dempsey, and Lisa Rinna), he's found himself in Telluride seeking the peace and solitude of being in a small town surrounded by nature. He is looking forward to using his hospitality abilities to make your trips seem like a home away from home.
